I have had the pleasure to teach many adult classes during my professional career. My teaching adult classes includes PLU classes in differentiating the curriculum through the arts, the Artist's Way, pottery, silver clay, mosaics, and egg dyeing.
I have taught fieldtrip programs, pre-k art camps, claymation, scouting programs, summer camps, afterschool classes, mixed media art classes, pottery classes, and art in the public schools to middle school and elementary age students.
For two years I worked at Moses Middle School in Paulding County. I survived teaching during a pandemic and moved to virtual teaching while navigating the canvas online learning platform.
I then move to Adairsville Elementary and taught art to Kindergarten through fifth grade.
I started up the pottery programming at the Booth Art Academy. I managed the studio, the equipment, and taught adult and children's classes.
I have been teaching mixed media to students since 2003.
A favorite class to teach has been technology in art classes. I have taught classes in
stop-motion, claymation, and graphic design.
Silver clay is one of my favorite adult classes to teach. The process combines two of my loves: pottery and jewlery.
It was my great pleasure to teach a class based off of the book "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron.
Claymation, stop-motion, egg dyeing, mosaic, weaving, printmaking, sculpture, oil pastels, drawing, and more.
